Maine Medical Center

This three-phased USP 800 compounding pharmacy renovation was completed adjacent to an occupied IV Therapy suite centered inside a fully functioning healthcare campus of Maine Medical Center. Additional structural reinforcement was required to support the new AHU, exhaust fans, dunnage framing, and interior catwalk. The scope of the project included upgrading the existing pharmacy to meet USP-800 requirements while improving the workflow of the space. Additional work included containment and selective demolition in the adjacent Learning Resource Center and IV Therapy, followed by new finishes to match. A new emergency generator was installed to serve the entire suite of Maine Medical Center in the event of a power loss.
